Join us on Friday, March 5th for a tournament from 11am-2pm.  Game includes (3) rounds of (4) games with a break for the included hot lunch. $16 Tile fee

Want to learn how to play Mah Jongg? Join us on Thursday, March 11th for a lesson and practice session and lunch.  9am-11am  $16

Sagamore at Shelter Rock Tennis Club

The Sagamore Bridge Club will continue the tradition with the Tuesday pm game at the Shelter Rock Tennis Club at Exit 36 on the LIE Westbound Service Road.  Please join us at 7:15pm.

New-plicate, Learning and Relax-paced Games:

Mondays  7:30pm New-picate/ Learning game (0-199 MP's) with supervised play.
Wednesdays  10:30am New-picate/ Learning game (0-199 MP's) with a lesson 20-minutes prior to game time, and supervised play.  Hot Lunch included.
Wednesdays 7:30pm New-picate/ Learning game (0-499 MP's) with a lesson 20-minutes prior to game time, and supervised play.
Saturdays  10:30am Ease into Duplicate game (0-499 MP's) with a lecture on duplicate strategy during lunch break.

Come ease your way into duplicate bridge with players just like yourselves.  These games are geared to beginners who need to practice and who need occasional help from the director in bidding.  The game is slower paced than regular open games and more relaxed.  Any player can play in these games, keeping in mind that less boards are played and that you may not qualify for MP if you have over MP limits (although, players with more MP are welcome to partner with novice friends in any of these games).  THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR RUBBER BRIDGE PLAYERS!

The Section "C" for Comfort Games (Limited to players with less than 750MP's)

Mondays  10:30am and Thursdays at 12:30pm. Lunch included.

Swiss Team Game* This is our Saturday night social.

Saturday 7:00pm, March 8th (dinner at 6:00pm), Saturday, April 12th (dinner at 6:00pm) and Saturday, April 12th (dinner at 6:00pm)

Individuals Game* This is our Thursday night Learning/Meet-a-new-partner event.  Come without a partner and challenge yourself to meet new players, play with everyone (a different partner EVERY hand!) and have a great time playing bridge! Every Thursday at  7:00pm.  Lecture before the game (6:40pm).

EXTRA Point Games and Jackpot Games* Every month, we rotate and bring you many special Extra point games and Pigmented point games.  A copy of our monthly calendar can be obtained at the club.

A general review of our games:

Weekday Morning Open games: These games are usually 2+section games and are open to all players.  These games consist of 24-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 7 minutes a board.

Weekday Morning Limited games: These games are usually 1 section games and are limited to players with 0-1500 MP.   Players with more than 1500 MP may play in a limited game, but are non-eligible for MP awards.  These games consist of 21-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 7.5 minutes a board (slightly slower than the open game).

Weekday Evening Open games: These games are usually 1-section games.  All level of players play together.  These games consist of 21-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 7 minutes a board.

Saturday Afternoon Open games: These games are usually 2-section games.  All level of players play together.  These games consist of 21-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 7 minutes a board.

Sunday Afternoon Open games: These games are usually 1-section games.  All level of players play together.  These games consist of 21-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 7 minutes a board.

Wednesday Evening Open games: These games are usually 1-section.  The director changes the format of play week-to-week (Barometer pairs, IMP scoring, Fast Pairs, etc).   These games consist of 21-28 boards (usually 24) at a pace of about 6 minutes a board.  This game is quickly becoming a favorite for players who like to change things up, play bridge and get home early!

New-plicate/Mentorship Learning games: These games are smaller and usually 1-section.  These games are geared to beginners who need to practice and who need occasional help from the director in bidding.  The game is very relaxed and a total of 15-18 boards are played at a pace of approx. 10-12 minutes a board.  Any player can play in these games, keeping in mind that they may not qualify for MP if they have over 199 MP  (Wed pm max is 399 MP).

Ease into Duplicate/Mentorship games: These games are smaller and usually 1-section.  These games are for seasoned beginners who are ready to learn the art of competition.  The game is very relaxed and a total of 15-18 boards are played at a pace of approx. 10-12 minutes a board.  Any player can play in these games, keeping in mind that they may not qualify for MP if they have over 499 MP.

Mah Jongg games: These tournament are run in accordance with the National Mah Jongg League.  Players play (3) rounds of (4) games and will rotate position and tables throughout the event.  Points are accumulated and an active leader board of Mah Jongg Masterpoints is kept by the club.  Daily winners as well as quarterly leaders and yearly winners.
